Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior legal experience to apply?
No. We welcome students from all majors and backgrounds who demonstrate interest and commitment.
What happens if I don’t meet a deadline?
We maintain strict deadlines to ensure timely publication. Late submissions may affect your standing in the organization and future participation opportunities.
How many new members do you accept each semester?
We accept a selective cohort of 10 new members per academic semester. This limited enrollment allows us to provide intensive mentorship and personalized training while maintaining the high editorial standards of our publication.
Do you accept external submissions for publication?
We do not currently accept external submissions for publication due to editorial capacity constraints. However, many of our events and workshops are open to the broader Occidental community, and we strongly encourage all interested students to apply for membership to participate in our publication process.
